"Shop with a Cop" is a program that rewards children (ages 5 to 18) with the opportunity to purchase clothing and other necessities while shopping with a police officer.
“Shop with a Cop” is operated by a group of individuals that volunteer their time to solicit donations, identify and select children to reward. The shopping trips are funded by donations from community members and local businesses.
If you know a child that deserves this reward click the application link below and fill out the form. Completed applications can be emailed to Heidi Hopper at Heidi.Hopper@rocklin.ca.us or they can be delivered in person or by mail to the Rocklin Police Department, 4080 Rocklin Rd. Rocklin, CA 95677.
Children are selected to participate in a shopping trip based on the following criteria:
Financial Need
Staying in school
Fighting adversity
Avoiding a gang or criminal lifestyle
They have a positive attitude
